On average, content on Reddit gets a total of 165 million upvotes each and every day.
That's more than we see in the entire U.S. election.
So we came up with an initiative to remind Reddit users to vote where it matters most — the ballot box.

To show the value of each and every vote we drew parallels between Reddit's high vote engagement and the relatively low turnout for local, statewide, and national elections.
We had some online video ads too. They're dumb. But like. Good dumb.

Pictures of the billboards started popping up across Reddit. 
In total posts featuring our billboards received a total of around 800k upvotes — all completely organically.
